White Oak Lodge

It was a great time with family and friends !! We celebrated my cousin Melvon's 68th birthday at White Oak yesterday and it was wonderful!! There was 1 young lady there that did it all , checked our ID's at the door, security wandscanned us all , took our orders , bartended and was our waitress all at the same time , 1 gentleman(her husband) cooked our food and we enjoyed every bit of it!! And it was 13 of us to be served!! I don't know her name , But... WONDERFUL JOB dear heart!! You did the darn thang girl ( maybe some of you guys know her name) the time was from 4:15pm+-7:15pm Sunday 6-23-19!!

Quaint lil local bar..good eats & drinks! Needs a lil renovating..4 stars only because of ambiance..maybe because of their predominantly Black crowd, which is always great, they won't renovate & spruce up the vibe as far as their infrastructure goes but that would probably draw more college crowd and sophistication to spot..Love the bartenders, esp Tasha! Reminds me of the 'Cheers' setting coz she always remembers you & your wants! the White Oaks burger & fries tho-everything!

White Oaks, has a reputation from past on a rough place but new owners have done a marvelous job bringing it back. have specials with wings and shrimp during the week. If you order the hot wings ( they are hot !! )Eaten there a few times it good food I enjoyed it. Beers is cold and they have pool tables in the back and a juke box for music.This is a smoking bar so that’s the only drawback for me being non smoker. If it’s busy to much smoke for me but slow times I have a place
